In the context of Wikiversity, free content usually means learning resources that can be freely copied and re-used according to the terms of use (this includes also material which is in public domain). At the moment all your contributions at Wikiversity are released under the Creative Commons Attribution/Share-Alike License and GNU Free Documentation License.
While it is possible that you might some day find Wikiversity content in a form that you have to pay for (such as a DVD), Wikiversity content is generally available "for free" in the sense that no fees are charged to access the content via the internet.
