উইকিবিশ্ববিদ্যালয় কী
উইকিভার্সিটি হলো উইকিমিডিয়া ফাউন্ডেশনের একটি প্রকল্প। এটি মুক্ত শিক্ষাসামগ্রী ও বিভিন্ন শিক্ষামূলক কার্যক্রম তৈরি ও ব্যবহারের একটি কেন্দ্র। এখানে আমরা মুক্ত শিক্ষা সম্পদ ও গবেষণাধর্মী প্রকল্পসমূহ সংরক্ষণ ও প্রকাশ করি। পাশাপাশি অন্যান্য উইকিমিডিয়া প্রকল্পের সঙ্গে সহযোগিতা করা এবং তাদের বিষয়বস্তু উন্নয়নে সহায়তা করাও এই প্রকল্পের অন্যতম লক্ষ্য।
অনেক প্রকল্প ইতোমধ্যেই বিটা উইকিভার্সিটি থেকে উন্নীত হয়ে এখন নিজস্ব স্বতন্ত্র প্রকল্প হিসেবে পরিচালিত হচ্ছে। বর্তমানে বিটা উইকিভার্সিটিতে অবদানকারীরা কাতালান, স্লোভাক, সিলেটি, ভিয়েতনামি এবং অন্যান্য আরও বহু ইনকিউবেটিং ভাষায় উইকিভার্সিটি প্রকল্প উন্নয়নের কাজ করছেন।
উইকিবিশ্ববিদ্যালয় বিটা কী?
উইকিভার্সিটি বিটা হলো একটি বহুভাষিক কেন্দ্র যেখানে বিভিন্ন ভাষায় উইকিভার্সিটি প্রকল্পগুলোর সমন্বয় করা হয়, যাতে উইকিভার্সিটির লক্ষ্য বাস্তবায়ন করা যায়, যেমনটি উইকিভার্সিটি প্রকল্প প্রস্তাবনায় উল্লেখ করা হয়েছে। এই ওয়েবসাইটে উইকিভার্সিটির নীতিমালা এবং মৌলিক গবেষণা সংক্রান্ত আলোচনা আয়োজিত হয়।
উইকিভার্সিটি বিটা এমন সব ভাষার উইকিভার্সিটি প্রকল্পের জন্য ইনকিউবেটর হিসেবে কাজ করে যারা এখনও নিজস্ব স্বতন্ত্র সাইট পায়নি।
To have a new Wikiversity site, you need three active participants for the project. Then you can request (at Meta) for a new language domain to be set up. Meanwhile, please add your project's main page to Template:Main page.
