Look a supply chain management package in detail. What financial and accounting information system does it deal with? -Supply Chain Management and Financial and Accounting Information are similar in many ways. First, both of them operate under the same basis software program to process data or information of the accounts. Second, they also work strictly according to the steps assigned by the software a set of activities or any transactions to transform inputs into outputs. Finally, they provide the customers the backup program to improve the data. An accounting information system (AIS) is the system of records a business keeps to maintain its accounting system. This includes the purchase, sales, and other financial processes of the business. In an electronic financial accounting system, the steps in the accounting cycle are dependent upon the system itself. For example, some systems allow direct journal posting to the various ledgers and others do.
