Wikiversity:Candidates for Custodianship/AtUkr (2)
Appearance
Hi. I'm requesting temporary 3-month custodianship to help with the badly needed cleanup of the project, especially the Ukrainian test wiki, as can be seen here. I plan to investigate all test wikis on this and I need the rights to perform the necessary actions. Of course, I'm willing to be held accountable for this undertaking.
@Crochet.david: this is the request we agreed on on your talk page at fr.wikiversity.

- Just for the record, I’m noting that there seems to have been a misunderstanding regarding the test wiki custodianship granted to the user, as they may not have requested that right. It looks like they were given test-custodianship for the Ukrainian language project, but I’m wondering if this was actually meant to be temporary custodianship. This caused some confusion, as outlined here: User talk:AtUkr#Test wiki custodian ?. Is this the proper use of the bureaucrat tool followed by the test-sysop tool in this context? Thank you. --

- @ꠢꠣꠍꠘ ꠞꠣꠎꠣ: I did request a general custodianship, not a test wiki custodianship. But I became aware of the issue only when you notified me. I ping'd Crochet.david on the talk page and he didn't respond, so I concluded this was deliberate and the bureaucrat consciously limited my remit to the UK test project. My cleanup of UK was done at that point, so there was nothing left for me to do. As I said on my talk page, I'm fully willing to bear responsibility for the (few) instances where I overstepped my bounds as a test wiki custodian.
- As a matter of fact, I actually requested custodianship to investigate all test wikis, not just UK. In particular, VI and BLK seem to be filled with low-quality content (see here). But since I evidently was prevented from interfering with other test projects, I dropped the matter and let my permissions expire. Hope this helps. AtUkr (talk) 15:21, 30 March 2025 (UTC)
