Gadgets

Below is a list of special gadgets users can enable on their preferences page, as defined by the definitions. This overview provides easy access to the system message pages that define each gadget's description and code.

General[View description]

• Directional editing control script (authors: Brion and Splarka).‎  (View description | Export)

Browsing[View description]

• To suppress display of the fundraiser banner.  (View description | Export)

• Navigation popups, article previews and editing functions popup when hovering over links.  (View description | Export)

• Enhanced Talk: Color codes discussions to make easier to follow, much like some forums or bulletin board do. See for an example screen here.  (View description | Export)

• Round Corners: Provides more rounded corners for anyone who uses mozilla-based browsers, like firefox.  (View description | Export)

• Add purge tab: This will give you a p tab on content pages to purge the server cache. This is useful for refreshing pages which do not show recent changes due to caching.  (View description | Export)

• Contributions Range: Allow /16,/24-/32 CIDR ranges on Special:Contributions forms (uses API), as well as wildcard Prefix searches, eg: Splark*  (View description | Export)

  Enabled for everyone by default.
• Add an [edit] link for the lead section of a page  (View description | Export)

• Add a clock in the personal toolbar that displays the current time in UTC (which also provides a link to purge the current page).  (View description | Export)
