Single User Login (SUL)

At the moment there is a pilot project running - involving all wikimedia custodians/admins. You can merge in this test all your same account names from all wikimedia projects - so you need only 1 password from now on to login. Also: the account name will be reserved on projects where the account does not yet exist.

To activate: please go to Preferences. In first Tab "User profile" you will see "Global account status:" > "Manage your global account"

This is done by the mw:Extension:CentralAuth (status: experimentell) - more info also here: meta:Help:Unified login.

Why should you do this ?

• see arguments above
• hopefully you will give feedback (bugs, wishes, ...)
