Oproep bedrijfskunde

[edit]

Hoi Tim, ik heb wel interesse om mee te denken over bedrijfskunde, en ben dan ook hier terecht gekomen. Op de overleg:hoofdpagina heb ik het een en ander aangetekend. Mvg. -- Mdd 14:39, 20 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Wikiversity not on wikibooks

[edit]

Betawikiversity is the incubator of wikiversity, not wikibooks. So NL.WV need to be in betawikiversity. If Wikiversity stay n Wikibooks, the Language Comitee of metawiki does not check on the opening of the independent NL.WV Crochet.david 09:14, 28 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Category

[edit]

Please don't forget to categorise the pages you create with [[Category:NL]]. That way your contribution in the test project will be visible.--ZaDiak 21:57, 7 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

states of NL wikiversity

[edit]

Hello. Be sure before update state that all page of the NL wikiversity are in the NL category or in its sub-category or sub-sub-caterogy. So, i advise you to check this special page to be on the track of uncategorized NL pages. Ifnot, you have this automatic tool.Crochet.david 19:56, 16 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Why is it necessary to add a category? I don't understand the tool. Can I select all the pages with no category created by me? and then automatically add a category? How can I do that?
Only pages in the NL category and in its sub and sub-sub category will be transferd when the NL will officially opened. The tool check all pages in this category to count the activity of the NL wikiversity in betawikiversity. To add a category, whitout bots, you need to add category one page by one page. Add licence and source

[edit]

Hello. Follow the indication in the {{information}} template and add it in each uploaded media. Crochet.david 08:04, 27 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

I don't understand this? What should I do with the template? Why is this so difficult? Very frustrating. Can this not be more easy? For me this is a reason to stop putting energy in wiki-related activities. Timboliu 08:30, 27 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
Wikiversity, and the others projetcs of the Wikimedia Fundation, only accepte medias with a free licence (no copyright, or no commercial). When you upload a file, nobody know the licence of the media. Is it free, under some restriction. Nothing say that. To allow everybody to know the rules of the re-use of the file, each uploader must indicate some information (whocreate the file, when, what are the rule to re-use the file). If you add this information, every body know what he can do with. So by adding and completing the {{information}} template, the uploader indicate all information needing to allow free file on Wikimedia Fundation project. Without information, the file could be under Copyright licence. This licence is not allowed on Wikiversity. The source information is th know who have the right of the media. Take or copy a photo in another web site or in a book don't make you the author. Crochet.david 08:53, 27 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
You have already upload 2 files in Wikimedia Commons. Uploded file on Wikimedia Commons can be used here as if there are uploaded here. By this way (upload on Wikimedia Commons) When the NL wikiverssity will be open, all file on Wikimedia Commons can be use on the NL wikiversity. If you upload only on betawikiversity, you need to re-upload a second time on the NL Wikiversity. Crochet.david 08:58, 27 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for the info. Is it also possible to ask for permition to upload a picture. What should I ask an what license should I choose? And what about this picture: http://beta.wikiversity.org/wiki/File:Rode_of_blauwe_slabber.JPG; this is a picture of myself. How can I add this to wikiversity? When re-uploading I don't have the possibility to add a license.
A re-upload don't change the licence. After a upload, to add a licence, you need to change the wiki-page of the file and add the information needing. The best way is to upload on Wikimedia Commons, the system make easiest the correct uploading as you done with this file. Crochet.david 10:17, 27 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
Oké, I understand now that uploading a file to Wikimedia Commons enables me to add a source. And how should I upload a file if I have permission from the author to use it? And if you add the source, like a newspaper, is it possible to add a picture? Timboliu 06:17, 28 October 2011 (UTC)Reply
You want to upload a file, you are not the author, and you want add this information. So :
  1. Upload this file on Wikimedia Commons as a normal file
  2. In description add "{{OTRS pending}} : This template indicate that file is not from you, so may be deleted, but need the author to mail at "permissions-commons AT wikimedia DOT org" to explain why it have the right on the file. The OTRS pending template will be change by the OTRS administrator with a number to indicate that fil is allow in Wikimedia Commons.
For newspaper, nothing under the last 70 years can be uploaded (Public domain).
