Your Request

[edit]
  • For loading and processings of materials of research very often it is necessary to spend routine job. It is necessary as for me personally (for job on the project connected with Biocomputer science), and to probably new participants who aren't programmers, but want is simplified to process materials. I could help them. Proceeding from it I ask to appropriate to my bot User:TacBot the status. It has it the status in Wikipedii [[wikipedia:ru:Участник:TacBot],|but is more active in my personal project [2]]. S.J. 13:59, 9 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
        • SergeyJ, Sorry for my late reply. While it is certainly useful, how often do you expect to use it locally? Is it active enough on Beta to need the flag? You can run the bot without the flag until it becomes busy :-). <Hillgentleman| ~ | > 16:48, 29 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It will not be real very often. If I can do from time to time editings by a bot (?) in itself the flag is not necessary to me... S.J. 21:20, 29 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
No problems. In that case I suggest that we wait assigning the flags until your bot is active enough - unless some wikiversiter really minds it. Thank you very much. Best, <Hillgentleman| ~ | > 15:20, 4 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I so sorry for doing many test edits. Thank you.--M.Gedawy 04:32, 10 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Granted from meta, as local bureaucrats appear to be inactive. Cordially, -- Quentinv57 06:01, 13 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks! <Hillgentleman| ~ | > 06:51, 9 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Leaderbot

[edit]

For meta:Global reminder bot. I expect the bot to run rarely, but this process is required because the wiki has opted-out of meta:Global bots. The bot flag is not needed. Please ping me in a reply. Leaderboard (talk) 07:08, 6 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Crochet.david Leaderboard (talk) 10:13, 14 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Since the TA for this project is the same as that for incubatorwiki, I don't think it's needed here for the same reason. As you can see, the TA for the wikiversity test project is not actively utilized. --Sotiale (talk) 12:56, 22 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Sotiale As with all other wikis for which I'm submitting this request; I'm aware that the bot will rarely do anything, and that's absolutely fine. Put it this way: can I turn on the bot for this wiki? If the answer is no, this would mean that this wiki will be in an opt-out set and will not run on this wiki, no matter what. Either way, please confirm and ping me either way. Leaderboard (talk) 10:51, 25 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Leaderboard, generally speaking, since this is performing a similar function to incubatorwiki, there is no need to notify about test-custodians here. However, I wonder if it is possible to set other flags besides test-custodians, and in that case it might be useful. As you understand, I have no reason to oppose your bot function unless it is about test-custodians. --Sotiale (talk) 05:13, 26 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Sotiale The bot will by default work on every right other than flags that are explicitly in the global opt-out set (such as confirmed, flood and bot flags). It is indeed possible to configure this wiki in such a way that it does not remind users about test-custodians, but otherwise works as normal. Please let me know if this works for you. Leaderboard (talk) 07:07, 26 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Leaderboard, if you can set it that way, it seems like it could work here :) --Sotiale (talk) 14:04, 30 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Sotiale Done: metawiki:Global_reminder_bot/betawikiversity. I'll enable the bot then otherwise you tell otherwise. Leaderboard (talk) 16:11, 30 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
