Aanvullende informatie[edit]

-- Mdd 23:22, 11 January 2012 (UTC)

Noinclude section[edit]

Hi, Why add a "noinclude" section in page ? Crochet.david (talk) 21:53, 16 February 2012 (UTC)

Do you mean the code at the end of a page? I see on the English Wikiversity pages that the same is done. Timboliu (talk) 07:18, 17 February 2012 (UTC)
Yes, at the end of page. Wich page have this section for exemple ? Crochet.david (talk) 08:25, 17 February 2012 (UTC)
The following page for example: http://en.wikiversity.org/w/index.php?title=Wikiversity:Announcements&action=edit Timboliu (talk) 08:28, 17 February 2012 (UTC)
Yes, this page is include in another so, the noinclude section is not copy into the incuded page. See transclusion help page. Crochet.david (talk) 08:48, 17 February 2012 (UTC)

upload file in Wikimedia Commons instead of Betawikiversity[edit]

Hi. I've noticed that you upload files to betawikiversity, and now with a copyright tag, it's perfect. But there's more: it is directly upload in Wikimedia Commons. Why upload in Wikimedia Commons? because a file upload in betawikiverisity can be used only in betawikiversity. File upload in Wikimedia Commons can be used in all projects of the Foundation wiki (wikipedia, wikibooks wikiversity, ....). Thus, when the Estonian Wikiversity will be created (I do not know when), files in betawikiversity will at that time reupload all the files from here, after all, put them in Wikimedia Commons. So putting them in wikimedia commons from the start.

  • A file placed in betawikiversity be used only in betawikiversity.
  • A file placed in Wikimedia Commons is used everywhere (the same method as if it were in the betawikviersity).

So to facilitate the work of everyone, goes directly to this page to upload files. You can even upload files to 10 simultaneously. Wikimedia commons in eesti Crochet.david (talk) 09:35, 17 February 2012 (UTC)

David. Thanks for the tip. Uploading files to betawikiversity is probalby a mistake from the beginning. I now upload files to Wikimedia Commens Timboliu (talk) 11:40, 17 February 2012 (UTC)

Lot of small page[edit]

Hello, when I read pages that you edit, i found in a lot of them, a link to the nl.wikipedia and a short text with. So what is the aim of all of these pages?

May I ask why you are interested? And can you give an example? I'm currently working on the Dutch wikiversity. On a wikiversity there are less rules regarding the shortness of pages. Does this answer your question?Timboliu (talk) 17:58, 15 April 2012 (UTC)
Interested, not particularly. But I try to understand the usefulness of these pages while noting that Wikiversity is not Wikipedia. Wikipedia is there to contain pages of encyclopedic, Wikiversity is not a duplicate of the content of Wikipedia: Wikiversity:What_Wikiversity_is_not/En and Wikiversity:What is Wikiversity?/En. Crochet.david (talk) 18:15, 15 April 2012 (UTC)
To which pages are you referring to? Timboliu (talk) 18:22, 15 April 2012 (UTC)
Office 2019, Office, Robotica, Bizagi, Beursgang Facebook, 130 rijden op de snelweg. I don't follow all page in this category, but i don't know what a student can learn as the aim of wikiversity for some page. Some pages are purely informative, and provide no learning component. Crochet.david (talk) 18:33, 15 April 2012 (UTC)
David, I don't agree these pages contain no learning component. For instance Office 2019 is part of Office, which is part of Microsoft. If you want to learn about Microsoft you can read about the products this company makes. I agree these pages should grow. So this is only a first start, but part of a bigger learning project. In this case the learning project 'companies and markets'. In this learning project you can learn about what companies are doing and what is really interesting: what is happening in a market. Timboliu (talk) 18:38, 15 April 2012 (UTC)
If it's just to say what companies are doing it's not learning lesson. Wikileaks is an another exemple. Crochet.david (talk) 20:31, 15 April 2012 (UTC)
It is not just 'what companies are doing'. Companies are working in a market. One of the ambitions of this learning project is to understand what happens in a certain market and to discuss this. Regarding 'wikileaks'. The purpose of pages in learning project 'actualiteit' is to discuss topics which are for example in the news. One of the ambitions of this learning project is to further deepen the news, ask questions, discuss the news.. In this particular case I want to learn about (and hopefully disucss) what Julian Assange has to say in his interviews. The pages don't contain little information because it's just a beginning. Timboliu (talk) 19:53, 16 April 2012 (UTC)

Please check this resource.[edit]

Hi, Good to see you. I see User:Floow2Wiki edits Floow2‎ page. I don't read Netherlands language. But, I use language translator, result is similar advertisement. Would you please check it? --Sotiale (Talk·Contribs) 11:17, 17 July 2012 (UTC)

I will have a look and I have also sent an email to the person who made the contribution. Cheers, Tim Timboliu (talk) 11:28, 17 July 2012 (UTC)
ah..? You cannot read it? or You know that that edit is advertisement, therefore you send email to him, for precise checking? --Sotiale (Talk·Contribs) 11:36, 17 July 2012 (UTC)
Yes I speak Dutch, so I can read it :-); before I suggest changes, I think it's nice to check with the contributer first; I think some contributions contain useful information and are not advertisement. Cheers, Tim Timboliu (talk) 11:40, 17 July 2012 (UTC)
OK, I see your point. Thank you, Have a good time :) --Sotiale (Talk·Contribs) 11:42, 17 July 2012 (UTC)
Sotiale, just to let you know. I'm asking the Dutch Wikipedia community what they advise. Timboliu (talk) 20:54, 19 July 2012 (UTC)

Deletion[edit]

Hi, an another way to delete a page is to put "{{delete}}" template in the page wikch need to be delete. Crochet.david (talk) 10:13, 31 August 2012 (UTC)

Thanks for the tip! Cheers, Tim, Timboliu (talk) 11:37, 31 August 2012 (UTC)

NL Templates[edit]

Hoi Tim,

<inhoud Template:xxx>
== Bronnen, noten en/of referenties ==
<references />
</inhoud Template:xxx>
