upload file in Wikimedia Commons instead of Betawikiversity

Hi. I've noticed that you upload files to betawikiversity, and now with a copyright tag, it's perfect. But there's more: it is directly upload in Wikimedia Commons. Why upload in Wikimedia Commons? because a file upload in betawikiverisity can be used only in betawikiversity. File upload in Wikimedia Commons can be used in all projects of the Foundation wiki (wikipedia, wikibooks wikiversity, ....). Thus, when the Estonian Wikiversity will be created (I do not know when), files in betawikiversity will at that time reupload all the files from here, after all, put them in Wikimedia Commons. So putting them in wikimedia commons from the start.

• A file placed in betawikiversity be used only in betawikiversity.
• A file placed in Wikimedia Commons is used everywhere (the same method as if it were in the betawikviersity).

So to facilitate the work of everyone, goes directly to this page to upload files. You can even upload files to 10 simultaneously. Wikimedia commons in eesti Crochet.david (talk) 09:35, 17 February 2012 (UTC)

Lot of small page

Hello, when I read pages that you edit, i found in a lot of them, a link to the nl.wikipedia and a short text with. So what is the aim of all of these pages?

May I ask why you are interested? And can you give an example? I'm currently working on the Dutch wikiversity. On a wikiversity there are less rules regarding the shortness of pages. Does this answer your question?Timboliu (talk) 17:58, 15 April 2012 (UTC)

Interested, not particularly. But I try to understand the usefulness of these pages while noting that Wikiversity is not Wikipedia. Wikipedia is there to contain pages of encyclopedic, Wikiversity is not a duplicate of the content of Wikipedia: Wikiversity:What_Wikiversity_is_not/En and Wikiversity:What is Wikiversity?/En. Office 2019, Office, Robotica, Bizagi, Beursgang Facebook, 130 rijden op de snelweg. I don't follow all page in this category, but i don't know what a student can learn as the aim of wikiversity for some page. Some pages are purely informative, and provide no learning component. David, I don't agree these pages contain no learning component. For instance Office 2019 is part of Office, which is part of Microsoft. If you want to learn about Microsoft you can read about the products this company makes. I agree these pages should grow. So this is only a first start, but part of a bigger learning project. In this case the learning project 'companies and markets'. In this learning project you can learn about what companies are doing and what is really interesting: what is happening in a market. It is not just 'what companies are doing'. Companies are working in a market. One of the ambitions of this learning project is to understand what happens in a certain market and to discuss this. Regarding 'wikileaks'. The purpose of pages in learning project 'actualiteit' is to discuss topics which are for example in the news. One of the ambitions of this learning project is to further deepen the news, ask questions, discuss the news.. In this particular case I want to learn about (and hopefully disucss) what Julian Assange has to say in his interviews. The pages don't contain little information because it's just a beginning. Hoi Klaas, Bedankt voor het aanmaken van de template. Ga hier zeker gebruik van maken als ik een voetnoot wil toevoegen. Ben er trouwens nog niet helemaal over uit of in alle gevallen een voetnoot gewenst is. Soms vind ik het zelf wel handig als er direct een klikbare bronvermelding achter de tekst staat. Graag gedaan. Een aardige toepassing al zeg ik 't zef ;-) kun je hier aantreffen. Het leest niet prettig als je steeds met een woordje als bericht o.i.d. weggestuurd wordt. Sterker nog: De meeste mensen zullen daar niet op klikken. Zo'n nummertje nodigt uit als je in de daaraan voorafgaande hele zin benieuwd bent. Als je na het lezen van het hele artikel nog geen interesse hebt, kun je die nog krijgen door de teksten onderaan in het sjabloontje dat daar ook voor dient in Wikipedia en andere projecten. Ik zit op zo'n slordige 80 projecten alleen binnen WMF al. Daarbuiten ben ik zelfs moderator (onder een andere naam, maar dat is een heel (ander) verhaal...
