Soovitusi

Tere! Üldjoontes kehtivad kõigis Wikimedia projektides failide üleslaadimisel Vikipeedia üleslaadimislehel toodud soovitused (nõuded). Ehk, kui oled üleslaaditud (heli)teoste autor, siis tuleb see iga faili juures ära märkida, siin projektis soovitatavalt inglise keeles (nt "Own work" või "Sung and recorded by me") ja iga faili juures peab olema mõnele vabale litsentsile vastav mall (nt {{cc-by-sa-3.0}}).

Aga siia samma laadimise asemel Commonsisse laadimine on soovitatav sellepärast, et sealseid faile saab kasutada kõigis Wikimedia projektides ja kui praegu n-ö inkubaatoris olev eestikeelne Vikiülikool saab oma alamdomeeni et.wikiversity.ee ja sisu sinna teisaldatakse, siis pole tarvis faile uuesti üles laadida (pole kindel, et failid koos muu kategooria "ET" sisuga automaatsel teisaldatakse). Lisaks on Commonsi üleslaadimisvormi kasutades faile lihtsam üles laadida. Sellele et tegu on su enda loominguga, saad seal viidata lihtsalt märkeruudu valimisega. Veel saab seal üles laadida kuni kümme faili korraga. Kuna aga keegi teine on varem Commmonsis nimega "Timo" juba registreerinud, siis tuleb sul seal teise kasutajanimega registreeruda. Kui pildid Commonsisse laadid, siis kategooriaks võiksid üleslaadimisvormis märkida näiteks "Viru pulm" ja teha sellest kategooria "Wikiversity projects" alamkategooria. Nii on selle kursuse failid ilusti koondatud ja kergemini leitavad.

Commonsisse ei tahtnud laadida seepärast, et need salvestised on esialgu ajutise loomuga. Meie prantsuskeelse sõbra jutust ma ei saanud aru, kuidas juba avaldatud failile litsentsi lisada. --Timo (talk) 10:03, 17 February 2012 (UTC)

Tagantjärele litsentsi lisamiseks pead oma üleslaaditud failide lehekülgi redigeerima ja lisama sinna koodi "{{self|cc-by-sa-3.0}}" või siis ilma "selfita" kood "own work {{cc-by-sa-3.0}}". "Self" või "own work" viitavad sellele, et oled ise autor ja nii ei tohiks tekkida kahtlusi seoses sellega, kust failid pärinevad. 90.190.114.172 10:17, 17 February 2012 (UTC)

Hi, to make a link to a file, you may use one of these 2 ways :

• [[File:too.foo]] or [[File:too.foo|alternative text]] to put the image (for .png, .gif, .jpg, .djvu or .pdf) a reader of the video (for .ogg or .ogv)
• [[Media:too.foo]] or [[media:too.foo|alternative text]] to put a link to the file

If you want to put a link to the file (as i understand that you want to do) use the second way, but don't put the direct link as a weblink. The day when the file change on the server, the direct link change, the link will be broken, but not the wiki-link. Crochet.david (talk) 07:49, 19 February 2012 (UTC)

Your account will be renamed

The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Timo~betawikiversity that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name.

Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
