Wikiversity custodians (also known as administrators or sysops), are Wikiversity users who have access to technical features that help with maintenance of Wikiversity. Those features include protecting and deleting pages, blocking other editors, and undoing these actions as well.
Wikiversity participants in good standing can apply for the custodian tools at Wikiversity:Candidates for Custodianship.
Any user can behave in a way befitting an administrator (or moderator), even if they have not been given the extra administrative functions. However, if you spot something that does require a custodian to deal with, you can request custodian action.

Bureaucrats form another set of Wikiversity participants, who have access to the tools which set (but not reset) user rights and give bot flags. There is not yet any formal relationship between the set of Wikiversity bureaucrats and the set of Wikiversity custodians.
