--SEVEREN (talk) 05:24, 1 July 2012 (UTC)
--Sotiale (talk) 05:28, 1 July 2012 (UTC)
:) --SEVEREN (talk) 05:29, 1 July 2012 (UTC)
Sotiale (talk) 05:30, 1 July 2012 (UTC)

the {{#babel:}} magic_word function
[edit]Hi. The user language box are outdated since the magic_word #babel exist so prefer the using of {{#babel instead of. Crochet.david (talk) 07:39, 20 July 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you for your advice. Can I ask you a question? In fact, I already know {{#babel:}} function. But I like outdated language box (.....), especially green-color. For this reason I used outdated language box. But I don't know why language box changed(including color). If the reason language box changed is a technical problem(for example, server overload, etc..) and any problem, I will change outdated language box. Any problems exist If I using it? --Sotiale (Talk·Contribs) 08:41, 20 July 2012 (UTC)
- The language box is a template. So each language template for each project for each language need to be created (6 levels by 10 projects by 250 language take 15000 template to be use). Metawiki create a magic_word as #babel, so now there are only (6 levels by 300 languages take 1800 template) and there are not in metawiki, but in translatewiki, the wiki for internationalisation text. Crochet.david (talk) 09:16, 20 July 2012 (UTC)
Oh, I understand. Many templates affects server load. Right? (also need many template each wiki) Umm.... OK, I will change the outdated language box. (I am on the express way, mobile edit interface is not proper.) thank you. France now 11am? --Sotiale (Talk·Contribs) 10:23, 20 July 2012 (UTC)

Undo deletion
[edit]Sotiale,
Could you please undo your deletion of page Henk Grol. I'm working on a learning project about sports. Extra information will be added. I added the link to Wikipedia so information is not copied. Can you also tell me where I can find information/ rules about linking to Wikipedia. If there's such a rule I want to discuss the exact formulation.
Thanks in advance,
Tim, Timboliu (talk) 15:53, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
- Henk Gorl content is next thing:
Template:상자 Official guideline permits that resources will link up with other Wikimedia projects. But, it has limiting condition; They prompt further work. For example, practice/discussion/reflection/criticism, etc. I cannot find out such things. In article, just linkage and short explanation. let me know what you intend. Regards, Sotiale (Talk·Contribs) 23:41, 3 August 2012 (UTC)
- Sotiale, where can I find these official guidlines? My intention for this learning project is to support learning on the subject of sports. In the case of 'Judo' I want people to learn for instance about the rules of Judo, but I can also imagine a discussion starts about why this sport is so beautiful. I also want learn Dutch people, who are watching the Olympics, who are attenting the Olympics. My aim is to give information that isn't available on Wikipedia (that's why I add a link) and eventually I hope to start a discussion or reflect on (in this case) winning a bronze medal. Something Henk Grol isn't very happy about. Cheers, Tim, Timboliu (talk) 11:05, 4 August 2012 (UTC)
- You can find what you want: Wikiversity:Approved Wikiversity project proposal/En#Resources. Sotiale (Talk·Contribs) 12:11, 4 August 2012 (UTC)
- I don't completely understand your intent... I cannot find any discussion platform. For reference, I deal with speedy deletion. David requests deletion, next reason: out of project of wikiversity, this information type is for wikipedia. He can also undo deletion. I will ask him about it. --Sotiale (Talk·Contribs) 12:22, 4 August 2012 (UTC)
- About Henk Grol the information about the medal for JO 2012 was existing when you write the page in betawikiversity. That you want create learning page about judo, ok, it's in the aim of Wikiversity. But add information that not yet in wikipedia : No, add it in wikipedia.
You create a lot of page with, firt, the link to wikipedia, and some encyclopedic information about it. that I can read and understant, i see not a lot what is it learning page. Crochet.david (talk) 20:02, 4 August 2012 (UTC)- Sotiale, I changed the page so know it's more educational. I would suggest next time a page is marked for speedy deletion, give me some time to adjust the page. The sports learning project is still very young. It takes some time to grow. Cheers, Tim, Timboliu (talk) 21:27, 4 August 2012 (UTC)
- I do that. But, please make articles more long, fruitful. It includes existing pages. I hope that you edit existing pages. Although 'educational' word is vague, short explanation and just linking up with other Wikimedia projects cannot be Wikiversity resources. Thank you for your effort. Sotiale (Talk·Contribs) 05:00, 5 August 2012 (UTC)
- I agree that the pages on the Dutch wikiversity are rather short. I will do my best to expand the current pages. Cheers, Tim, Timboliu (talk) 08:45, 7 August 2012 (UTC)

Asadal (talk) 07:36, 15 August 2012 (UTC)
Sotiale (Talk·Contribs) 08:08, 15 August 2012 (UTC)

[edit]Hi Sotiale!
I still can't use my transwiki right, because the import source bug isn't fixed, yet. The problem is, that I've transwiki only till 1th October and it doesn't seem, that gerrit:23419 will be fixed immediately. Could you leave a positive code review there? May the gerrit would be approved faster. Thank you for all and greetings, Vogone (talk) 23:26, 13 September 2012 (UTC)

Korean Wikiversity approval
[edit]Hi, we (the language committee) have noticed that you have done a lot of work on the Korean Wikiversity test project. We would like to approve it, but you are the main contributor and we are reluctant to approve wikis that have one main contributor because the project would get inactive if you would become inactive too. So, if you could find other contributors to help, we can create ko.wikiversity.org. (If replying, please do so on my talk page.) Regards, SPQRobin (talk) 03:09, 16 November 2012 (UTC)
- Well, if there would be several contributors active for one or a few weeks and they are likely to stay, then I think that would be sufficient for approval. In any case if there are several contributors, the project won't have to wait for several months because the Korean Wikiversity is already active and has a lot of content. SPQRobin (talk) 03:34, 17 November 2012 (UTC)
- Ok, good. (If you don't hear back from me or another LangCom member, feel free to remind me in a few weeks/months.) SPQRobin (talk) 16:32, 17 November 2012 (UTC)
- Hi, Think to check all KO pages to be in KO category or in its sub-categories. When the KO wikiversity will be open, a template will be add to theses pages calling to stop contributions in betawikiversity and go to the KO wikiversity. So check this page and call me to do the first job here, the transfert will be done by the language committee. Crochet.david (talk) 18:21, 19 November 2012 (UTC)
